The Japanese Language NAT-TEST Code of Honor is the set of ethical principles that all test takers, users and administrators of the NAT-TEST are obligated to follow. We kindly ask for your cooperation.

The obligation of test takers and exam users
Test takers of the Japanese Language NAT-TEST are not allowed to lie, cheat, steal or engage in any other dishonest behavior when taking the exam or any other time that they are dealing with the exam or exam material. All test takers are obligated to provide a picture of themselves, which will be printed on your application ticket for identification purposes. Exam proctors will also verify your identity on exam day with your application ticket and a valid photo ID.
If we confirm a violation of the NAT-TEST Code of Honor
If there is a confirmed violation of the Japanese Language NAT-TEST Code of Honor, which may include but is not limited to engaging in impersonation to take the exam for someone else, falsifying score reports or certificates of proficiency, etc., the NAT-TEST administration committee will invalidate all exam results related to the registered test taker. There will also be no reimbursement of any examination fees. The NAT-TEST administration committee will also bar the test taker in question from any further use of the NAT-TEST.
Obligation of the exam administrators
The Japanese Language NAT-TEST administration committee, and all branch office administrators, exam proctors and staff at each test site are making the utmost effort to prevent the occurrence of any kind of dishonest behavior regarding the exam. We take this duty seriously and will harshly deal with any violations of the Code of Honor.
